The Global Junior Challenge takes place within the context of Italian Digital Agenda and Europe 2020. More precisely, the aim of the Global Junior Challenge is to encourage young generations and their teachers to use new technologies, exchange experiences and emulate successful initiatives. This is a massive chance to reflect and share experiences on the challenges posed by the 21st century education and the role of new technologies in the innovation of the teaching approach and in the process of social inclusion, development and poverty reduction. The GJC competition is open to all kind of associations, public and private institutions, cooperatives, schools, universities, companies and individuals of any age from all around the world: admissible projects must be active or finished, and address young men and women up to age 29, who use ICT for educational objectives.

Morover, to continue the activities of Professor Emeritus Tullio De Mauro (Torre Annunziata, 1932 - Rome, 2017) and promote the precious role of teachers and administrators who work daily to bring inclusion and quality to their schools, this edition offers the opportunity to apply for “Best Innovating Teacher Award”.
An international jury will select the finalist projects and announce the winners
