Gdansk Roadmap for Digital Inclusion: A Hub for Social Innovation
The roadmap is a collaborative text from and for digital Inclusion practitioners across Europe. It aims to gather concrete solutions to common problems. This Roadmap is the result of a federated approach to which you all have contributed by demonstrating ownerships of its process, and at the same time an open and shared vision on what its Objectives should be like, what Actions should be taken and what Priorities should be considered. It is being discussed and adopted during Gdansk conference on Innovation for Digital Inclusion.

The report makes a series of recommendations to governments, industry, children, parents and teachers which range from a call for more user-friendly parental controls and online safety features to ensuring children also lead a rich life away from the computer.
Let's write it together! Gdansk Roadmap for digital Inclusion
If you are active in the fight against the digital divide and have ideas on how to improve wellbeing and inclusion of people through digital literacy and skills then you should contribute to the Gdansk roadmap.
The roadmap is a collaborative text from and for digital Inclusion practitioners across Europe. It aims to gather concrete solutions to our common problems; show what you - as an eInclusion practitioner - are already doing; mobilise support and tools from relevant decision makers and sectors.
It is planned that the contributors with the most concrete inputs will be invited to present the most important issues from the Roadmap to Neelie Kroes, Vice President of the European Commission responsible for the digital agenda. The Roadmap will be discussed and adopted by the delegates of the Gdansk conference on Innovation for Digital Inclusion, 5-7 October 2011 (you can still register to the conference!).
The draft roadmap is expecting your contributions before Wednesday September 28, 2011.
Digital literacy is one of the priorities of the Digital Agenda for Europe. The roadmap draws on stakeholder expertise and is interested also in YOUR contribution.

European Video Competition: Sustainable Energy and Digital Video
The winners of the first “My School and Sustainable Energy” European Video Competition, which falls under the activities of the Yourvid Save Energy (YSE) project, were recently announced.
The Yourvid Save Energy project is all about finding innovative teaching and learning methods on the topic of "saving energy and raising understanding of the need for sustainable energy in schools and society” through a new didactical approach based on Web 2.0 (social networks).

eXplorarium
Das „eXplorarium“ ist eine Werkstatt für modernes eLearning in der Schule. Die Mitarbeit in diesem Projekt eröffnet Lehrkräften und Schüler/innen neue Wege des IT-gestützten Lernens. Unterrichtsvorschläge, die konstruktives Lernen mit aktueller Mediendidaktik verbinden, werden für alle Klassenstufen entwickelt und in der Schulrealität erprobt. In eXplorarium-Kursen stellen Schüler/innen ihre Fragen an die reale Welt und beziehen bei ihrer Beantwortung die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten des eLearning auf der Lernplattform „Moodle“, die für das eXplorarium angepasst wurde, mit ein. Lehrkräfte lernen im Alltag den Umgang mit dem eXplorarium-Ansatz und erhalten dafür umfassend Fortbildung und Begleitung.

Metabolaspel
Leer spelenderwijs alles over celmetabolisme. Dit spel wordt ‘online’ via de browser gespeeld, in principe door twee teams, elk met een anabole (opbouw) opdracht en een katabole (afbraak) opdracht. Speel dit spel vaker met verschillende deelnemers en in verschillende rollen waardoor uw inzicht in celmetabolisme voelbaar wordt, ook voor de mede- en tegenspelers. Het spel heeft een ingebouwde chat-functie.
