Sirin Soyoz has been working for the British Council Turkey English Language Teaching (ELT) Department for three years now. Having worked as an English teacher, she started to work at a partnership project for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the British Council as the web editor of a global youth portal, which was her first introduction to a virtual network. For the last three years, she has been involved in the development and delivery of British Council online teacher training projects as an online tutor and e-mentor. She has been studying at post-graduate level towards an M.A. in online and distance education by the UK's Open University.
