Public profile Barbara Buchegger

Barbara Buchegger is an expert for online safety, media education and collaborative e-learning and member of the Austrian Awareness centre Saferinternet.at. She is an on- and offline facilitator and trainer for teachers in the field of internet use and e-learning. In her work for Saferinternet.at she mainly works with pupils, teachers, head teachers and parents in order to promote online safety. She is also a member of the Austrian e-learning network eLSA. For the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture she is implementing policies and strategies in the field of teacher training. She is a graduated engineer from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences and from University of Linz.
