Expression alluding to the fact that the elderly participate less in the Information Society. For example, the low numbers of elderly people with Internet connection compared to the population as a whole.

Smart Card
Small card containing a microprocessor with a series of functions and memory. The smart card may contain key information such as, for example, a patient's clinical record.
