Expression alluding to the fact that the elderly participate less in the Information Society. For example, the low numbers of elderly people with Internet connection compared to the population as a whole.

Standards specifying the level of knowledge and competence required to successfully perform functions in the world of employment, adapted to each employment group.
Smart Card
Small card containing a microprocessor with a series of functions and memory. The smart card may contain key information such as, for example, a patient's clinical record.

According to the European Commission definition, a company employing fewer than 250 people.
